Kibbitznest accepts donations of any type of book and especially those in the liberal arts discipline. A collection of rare books and signed books are also available, please ask to look through them. We carry approximately 5,000 used books, we add to the stock as we receive donations. The sale of the books along with monetary donations fund the honorariums and programming costs for the liberal arts discussions to further the mission of preserving quality face-to-face interaction. Some books are also offered on abebooks and eBay.

Books are accepted during open hours Tuesday through Sunday. For larger donations of 4 bags/boxes or more please click link below to arrange a drop off time.

Kibbitznest, Inc also carries a carefully curated selection of primarily scholarly and academic remainder books in the liberal arts category. Most of the books are from A, B, and C SENSE-rated academic presses and publishers. We add to our stock as we survey the preferences of our guests and patrons and the wider and local Chicago community.
